A lot of this makes sense but I don’t agree with the characterization that our generation made things better. Our (millennial) generation just built tools to monopolize attention and capital and to monitor and control people. That doesn’t add any value to other people’s lives. Not to mention the role that reserve banks played in this by dropping interest rates and bailing out corporations repeatedly. Successful leftists are not winners of a fair game, they’re winners of a rigged game — Those on the right know this intuitively even though they can rarely explain why it’s rigged. They just sense that a lot of things in our modern economy don’t make sense and their intuition is accurate even though their reasoning is wrong.
