Agreed. For the most part, boomers took what their parents had built and found ways to monopolize all the profits. They corrupted the monetary system (unpegging it from gold in 1971) and proceeded to use the (now unhinged) money printers to stimulate and centralize the economy for their own benefit... They created a nightmarish highly unequal socio-political environment dominated by inefficient zombie corporations; propped up by easy money.

Boomers oversaw governments loading themselves up with public debts which younger generations must now repay (with interest) via incessant money-printing/inflation... To rub salt into the wound, many jobs and business opportunities were outsourced overseas; this ensured that younger generations would constantly struggle to keep up with inflation due to high competition from overseas labour (which held down salaries)... In many cases, younger generations have been entirely priced out of housing markets.

Finally, to kick them while they’re down, media campaigns have been launched to slander new generations by constantly referring to them as 'privileged' and openly discrimating against them as if they are unworthy of the land they stand on.

Also, boomers strangled the so-called 'free market' with an insane amount of regulations (in addition to money printing and government interference in the economy)... These days you can’t do anything without a license; you need a license to build a house, to start a business, to sell drinks, to teach, etc... In some countries, you can’t even invest your own money without a license.
