Based on what you're saying, it seems that you're far more prejudiced than I am.

Many left-wing people don't seem to understand why people vote for Trump; so they think republicans are 'stupid' or 'confused'. Left-wing people are further from seeing the game that is being played out. If you saw the game, you would not think your opponent is stupid. You would see "conflicting interests" and a rotten system which manufactures them.

The fact that you don't see that people have conflicting interests and that there is no universal right or wrong choice suggests a cushy worldview, not the adversarial one which most Republicans have lived through.
