With reserve banks creating and injecting trillions of dollars of fiat into the economy via banks and governments; companies, money, and people tell us nothing about the state of the industry; it could all be artificial; funded entirely by money straight out of the money printer.
If most of your customers' incomes are derived from selling corporate stocks and those corporate stocks are (for example) constantly (and artificially) being pumped up by huge loans which are repeatedly taken out by big private equity firms and governments, then your customers' incomes are artificial... Those customers wouldn't exist (they would not be able to afford to pay for your product) if they weren't getting all this (almost free) currency.
