I don't think each human being on the planet participates equally in the process of money creation. Timing is important; those who understand the scheme and get in on it early will always be in better position than those who arrive late. People are punished for merely being born too late. I would go as far as to argue that understanding how the system works gives you almost no advantage these days. At best, this knowledge allows you to make sense of and narrate your own demise (which is what I'm doing here), it doesn't serve much in terms of preventing it.

The system seems to have collapsed into a kind of blackhole which delivers nominal returns by reallocating and concentrating existing value into ever fewer hands instead of creating new net value.
