It would be more logical to ban all big tech corporations than cryptocurrencies. Nobody needs Google, Facebook or Microsoft. Many people will argue that these companies are actually harming them. If these corporations were banned tomorrow, it wouldn't affect anything; people would just switch to other providers (DuckDuckGo is quite good these days), also, smaller players would quickly fill the gap. There is nothing behind any of these instruments except network effects... They are the same thing. Instruments which soak up all the newly printed money from the economy. Without them, the economy would change for the better.

Google wasn't always as profitable as it is today. Advertising wasn't always such an important part of the economy. They mostly thrived due to unfair monetary policy. If you shut off the money printers, these companies would be first to go bust.
