Jon’s Lisk Update — May 2020

Here is my update for the month of May 2020.

Overview

Most of this month was spent on launching LDEX — the first decentralized exchange on the Lisk blockchain and with support for the Leasehold market, the first sidechain token which is interchangeable for LSK in a decentralized way. LDEX currently only supports a single market LSH/LSK (Leasehold/Lisk) but additional markets are planned in the future.

Trades are executed through the following 2 multisig wallet addresses and require signatures from at least 6 out of 12 members:

Lisk (LSK):
https://explorer.lisk.io/address/5106800536278888190L

Leasehold (LSH):
https://explorer.leasehold.io/address/7485409328757727573L

The LDEX Web UI is a low friction way to buy and sell LSH tokens as it makes it possible to trade without signing up or downloading any software.
All that is needed to purchase Leasehold (LSH) tokens are Lisk (LSK) tokens.

New wallets on either blockchain can be generated from the UI at the click of a button. The price history chart is fully decentralized as it is calculated on the client-side using blockchain data.

Special opportunity

Now that we have successfully launched the first DEX market on Lisk, we’re on the lookout for other projects/tokens to list on LDEX.
We’re particularly interested in simple projects which aim to tokenize real-world profits.

If you would like to pitch your project to us for listing, feel free to post a link to your pitch deck or project website on our dex-pitches channel on Discord. Technical and non-technical candidates are welcome. We do not charge listing fees.
