There is no perfect system.

Ultimately, what counts is reality on the ground as seen from the average citizen’s perspective.

In the west, there is a corporate dictatorship, headed by unelected executives and shareholders who control our governments. They control our so-called ‘democratic’ electoral processes too — We only hear about the candidates that the corporations want us to hear about. They basically choose all the candidates and then we choose among them which one to oppress us over the next few years.

Political dictatorship is just a more obvious form of dictatorship but it’s not necessarily any less free.
