This is true but unfortunately most non-technical directors do not believe this. They think that they can substitute 1 good developer with 2 bad developers and get the same results. What they don't realize is that they couldn't get the same quality of results even if they substituted that 1 good developer with 1000 bad developers.
It's weird that they think this way because nobody would think that hiring 10 engineers to fix a lightbulb would yield a quicker and more reliable result... Yet somehow when the task is more complex, they seem to think so.
